6 1/4" Tricone Bit IADC535 for Water Well and Oil Field Rotary
ProDrill™ offers heavy duty Steel tricone drill bits to meet your customized needs. We have classified the bits based on their diameter (footprint), American Petroleum Industry number (API Number) and International Association of Drilling Contractor number (IADC number). The IADC number further classifies the tricone bits based on the tooth material of construction, suitability for drilling into soft, medium or hard rock and bearing type used. ProDrill™ manufactures tricone bits for all possible combinations of IADC numbers.
Tricone drill bits include Steel Teeth (or milled teeth) bits and Tungsten Carbide Insert (TCI) bits, TCI drilling bits are much more durable than Steel Teeth bits, but come with a higher cost to manufacture. Both these two groups of Tricone Bits are available with
(1) Open Bearing or Sealed Bearing
(2) Roller Bearing or Friction Bearing (Journal Bearing)
(3) Gage Protected or Non-Gage Protected, etc.
Tricone drill bits are widely used in mining, oil well, water well, thermal drilling.

1. Elasatomer Sealed Roller Bearing Bit
Cutting Structure: The wear-resistance of teeth is enhanced with premium tungsten carbide hardfacing on the tooth surfaces for steel tooth bit.
Gauge Structure: Multiple gauge protection with gauge trimmers on the heel and gauge inserts on the gauge surface of the cone, tungsten carbide inserts and hardfacing on the shirttail increases gauge holding capability and bearing life.
Sealed Bearing Structure: 1. Abrasion resistance and seizure resistance of the bearing are improved. 2. Premium O-ring, Optimal seal compression and curved seal structure can enhance the seal performance.
